Ladysmith Shopping Centre was originally constructed in the mid-1960s but today provides 170,000 sq ft of value-led convenience retail in the heart of the town centre. Anchor tenants include Boots and Home Bargains, with a number of other national retailers including Peacocks, Greggs and Costa.
The centre dominates the value-led and convenience offer in the town.

Located in the centre of Ashton-underLyne, some 6.5 miles from the centre of Manchester, serviced by road and the Manchester Tram. Tameside Council have recently relocated their head offices adjacent to the scheme.
Ashton-under-Lyne is a famous market town with a thriving indoor and outdoor market. Lyn Williams, the previous Centre Manager at the Ladysmith was famous for organising coach trips, from as far as Blackpool, to the town for people to experience 'market town shopping
